Le chlorure de calcium est un composé inorganique , un sel avec la formule chimique CaCl2, également nommé Chlorure de calcium anhydre, Calcium.Chlorure Dihydrate 74%, Chlorure de calcium dihydraté 77%. C'est un solide cristallin incolore à température ambiante, à haute solubilité dans l'eau. Le chlorure de calcium est couramment rencontré sous forme hydratée solide avec la formule générique CaCl2 (H2O) x, où x = 0, 1, 2, 4 et 6.

2. Caractéristiques:

1)	Calcium chloride, CaCl2, is a common salt. It behaves as a typical ionic halide, and is solid at room temperature.
2)	It has several common applications such as brine for refrigeration plants, ice and dust control on roads, and in concrete.
3)	It can be produced directly from limestone, but large amounts are also produced as a by-product of the Solvay process.
